Electric or hydraulic flapper valve (also called the glasses valve) is a blast furnace gas pipe network one of the main cutting device. The device is widely used in metallurgical industry, blast furnace gas and blast furnace gas dust removal system residual pressure power generation (TRT) system is the key cutting equipment.
Working principle

Fault analysis

Improvement measures
Pin rack safety device is the use of blunt gear meshing with the drive pin in place after the operation, the drive pin in a timely manner from the cogwheel, cogwheel idle, do not drive rack frame to walk to achieve its security features, the security device does not prevent the blunt running gear in the opposite direction. Pin rack safety device commonly used chute (Figure 2) and activities of the pin (Fig. 3) structure. Pin rack safety device is arranged in the two extreme position of valve plate sliding movement, racing through the cogwheel from the sale rack to ensure the valve plate running gear of the transmission part of the safety. Chute safety device of simple structure, commonly used in open-type flapper valve. The movable pin type safety device suitable for closed type board plug valve, appropriate to increase the activity of pin hole diameter in the design, and with a movable pin auxiliary return spring, ensure the normal valve plate sliding action.
Conclusion
Application of pin rack safety device solves the travel switch delay or failure of the valve damage drive components, to ensure the normal operation of blast furnace gas process system.
